LOST VILLAGES AND MANORS

We will leave by car from Tarvisio and along the SS 54 we will reach Fusine; here we will turn left and after 2 km of asphalt road we will arrive in Poscolle. From there, walking through meadows and woods in the Tarvisio Forest, we will reach the top of Monte Castello, where we will find the remains of the ancient Weissenfels manor, which since 1400 overlooked the town of Fusine, its forges and the Stuekl Castle. After visiting the remains of the manor and identifying the splendid surrounding peaks, we will return to the valley to observe the characteristic rural buildings of the Alpine village of Poscolle.
